A new documentary on the illustrious @dvDianaVreeland is set to premiere next month @MuseumModernArt during #NYFashionWeek. The film, called Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel, will “capture Vreeland’s life visually and will guide us through her life, adventures, accomplishments, and passions.” The documentary will also be screened during Paris Fashion Week & sponsored by Barney’s New York
Also, a book by the same name will be published on October 1st and will feature illustrations and original magazine spreads.

The Louvre is going DIGITAL!
A new partnership with Nintendo will mark one of the Louvre’s major milestones in its new drive to go “digital”. Starting in March, you can now visit one of the world’s most illustrious museums with a Nintendo 3DS in-hand.
“We are the first museum in the world to do this,” Alfandari told AFP. “People’s habits have changed. But that offers us a huge opportunity to extend the museum’s territory, and build a lasting relationship with our visitors.”
“When visitors choose to tour the museum with a 3DS, they’ll have access to themed itineraries and commentaries, including child-appropriate ones, in seven languages. It’s not clear how the console will use the 3DS’s glasses-free 3D display to enhance the experience, but it’ll no doubt figure prominently in the experience.”
